Community Profile

We are KARI, the Kenilworth Artist-Run Initiative, a diverse group of both established and emerging Australian artists from all over the Sunshine Coast and the Mary Valley region. We have banded together with the express purpose of running our own gallery space on our own terms. Our focus is to support each other. To this end we have formed a cooperative where every member has a say and plays a role. So when we have an exhibition, it's all hands on deck. While we as individual members look forward to networking and sharing our skills, enthusiasm and ideas with our fellow artists in the group, we also plan to extend the same to the wider community and will be offering regular workshops by artists.
